American Regions Mathematics League (ARML)

…is an annual, national high school mathematics team competition held simultaneously at four locations in the United States.

Competition Information

Rounds

  • Team round - the entire team works on ten problems together

  • Power round - the questions are proof-oriented and are in a theme

  • Individual round - each individual takes a ten question test

  • Two relay rounds - the answer to one problem is necessary to solve the next problem

  • Super relay - relay round where each team submits one answer

Location/Time

For our region, the competition is hosted at University of Alabama - Huntsville (UAH).

Typically hosted around late May.
